Jane Kaczmarek is a Wisconsin-born actress best known for her acclaimed role as Lois on Malcolm in the Middle, earning multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Kaczmarek grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1979, where she majored in theater. She also earned an MFA in theater from Yale University in 1982. Her career spans television, film, and theater, with notable roles on St. Elsewhere, Frasier, and Raising the Bar.
Tony Shalhoub is a Wisconsin-born actor best known for his Emmy-winning role as Adrian Monk on Monk and for his acclaimed work on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Born in Green Bay, he studied drama at the University of Southern Maine and earned an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in 1980. His career spans stage and screen, with standout performances in The Band’s Visit, Big Night, Galaxy Quest, and Men in Black.
